Trade Surveillance Compliance Associate

We are looking for Trade Surveillance Compliance Associates to work directly with a global trading client. This is a key compliance-focused role where you will help maintain market integrity by handling customer cases related to prohibited or suspicious trading activities.

What You’ll Do
- Communicate with traders flagged for hedging or trading rule violations, ensuring a professional, calm, and respectful tone at all times.
- Clearly explain policies and clarify where rule violations occurred.
- Review trade reports, order logs, and activity summaries to identify fraudulent or prohibited behavior.
- Translate technical findings into clear, customer-friendly explanations.
- Draft formal communications using internal templates and tone guidelines.
- Manage multiple cases while meeting documentation and response deadlines.
- Escalate complex cases to senior compliance team members.
- Suggest process improvements to reduce false positives and improve handling efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English, spoken & written (mandatory).
- Fluent in Spanish (mandatory)
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical data, trading activity, and system logs
- Strong composure when dealing with upset or escalated customers
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Analytical mindset; comfortable working with trading, behavioral, or system data
- Ability to handle pressure and manage time-sensitive caseloads
- Experience in financial services, brokerage, compliance, or customer operations is a strong plus
- Familiarity with trading platforms, futures, or derivatives is advantageous
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, and ticketing systems
